Start with the application

Pultrusion requests need more than the name of the finished profile. Section geometry, reinforcement arrangement, line conditions and the target acceptance criteria together define the material review.

The current SIHE Pultrusion Resin Series includes the approved grades SH296, SH298 and SH299. A representative trial and technical review determine the delivery grade for the stated process.

Choose a material-review direction

Bring the process into the decision

  1. Use the profile cross-section and reinforcement arrangement to describe the wet-out and processing task; do not infer suitability from a resin viscosity alone.

  2. Record the current line speed and relevant die/cure conditions for technical review. This page supplies no universal temperature, speed or cure recipe.

  3. Define the required surface, dimensions and mechanical or service criteria for the finished profile. Evaluate the complete material and process system before a larger order.

Prepare your request

Make the next conversation specific

  • Profile drawing, section dimensions and required tolerances
  • Reinforcement type, arrangement and intended loading
  • Line speed and current die/cure conditions
  • Surface, dimensional and end-use acceptance requirements
  • Current resin and the issue observed during production
  • Trial quantity, expected use and delivery country

Your application brief

Add what you know. Review or copy your summary, then continue to the RFQ to confirm the complete request.

Technical review

Final grade and production settings require review and a representative trial. No load rating, fire rating, electrical rating or increase in line speed is claimed here.

Before you send a request

Can I request a sample?

Yes. Tell SIHE the material direction and what you want to evaluate. Sample specification, availability, cost and freight are confirmed for your request.

Request a sample
Which technical documents should I request?

Request the current TDS for the selected resin family or grade. The applicable SDS depends on the selected product and market of use.

What happens after I submit the RFQ?

The RFQ saves your complete request and provides an acknowledgement. A SIHE representative then reviews the material requirements and confirms the next steps.

Continue with related guidance

The Pultrusion Resin Series provides approved grade data. The FRP selection guide explains how to compare process conditions and prepare a structured request.
