Applications & material selection
Material review for FRP water-play equipment
Bring the forming process, surface requirements and water exposure into one brief. SIHE helps review the Water Park Resin Series for manufacturing or repairing FRP water-play components.

Start with the application
A water-slide segment, a formed water-play feature and a repair area can require different production and surface decisions. Define the part and the scope of work before selecting a resin family or requesting a sample.
SIHE's Water Park Resin Series is an existing direction for FRP water-park equipment and water-play structures. Grade selection is confirmed against the forming process, surface requirements and actual service conditions.

01
New component manufacturing
Describe the moulding process, part dimensions, reinforcement, coating system and appearance criteria for the production review.

Repair or service-condition review
Identify the existing substrate, damage and water/cleaning exposure. Review compatibility and representative acceptance criteria before selecting the repair material.
Use this direction in my briefBring the process into the decision
State the forming method and the distinction between the structural laminate and the visible surface system. Base resin alone does not define the finished surface.
Describe water exposure, temperature, outdoor conditions and cleaning media relevant to the component. Avoid translating a general water-park application label into a universal resistance claim.
Provide colour and appearance targets together with the current resin/coating information. Confirm sample conditions and an evaluation plan before agreeing on a delivery grade.
Prepare your request
Make the next conversation specific
- Component type, dimensions and manufacture/repair scope
- Forming process, reinforcement and laminate requirements
- Surface/coating system and colour or finish targets
- Water, cleaning-media, temperature and outdoor exposure
- Current materials, damage or processing issue to review
- Expected quantity, delivery country and sample/document needs
Your application brief
Add what you know. Review or copy your summary, then continue to the RFQ to confirm the complete request.
Technical review
This application page does not certify an amusement ride, promise anti-slip performance, guarantee chlorine/UV resistance or specify a service life. Confirm the actual system and acceptance requirements.
Before you send a request
Can I request a sample?
Yes. Tell SIHE the material direction and what you want to evaluate. Sample specification, availability, cost and freight are confirmed for your request.
Request a sampleWhich technical documents should I request?
Request the current TDS for the selected resin family or grade. The applicable SDS depends on the selected product and market of use.
Request current technical documentsWhat happens after I submit the RFQ?
The RFQ saves your complete request and provides an acknowledgement. A SIHE representative then reviews the material requirements and confirms the next steps.
